1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Svaarian in any way — posting a ride request, bidding on one as a driver, booking a tour package, or hiring a freelance driver — you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. What Svaarian is

Svaarian is a marketplace that connects people who need a ride with independent, verified drivers. Riders post a route, date, and budget; drivers submit bids; the rider chooses the offer that works for them. Svaarian also lists fixed-price tour packages and lets users hire freelance drivers directly. Svaarian itself does not own or operate vehicles and is not a party to the transportation contract between a rider and a driver.

3. Account registration and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Drivers must complete identity verification before they can bid on ride requests or accept bookings.

4. Bidding, booking and payments

When a rider posts a ride request, any verified driver may submit a bid with their proposed price. The rider is free to accept, decline, or ignore any bid — Svaarian does not set or guarantee prices. Once a bid is accepted, both parties are expected to honour the agreed price and trip details. Tour packages are booked at the fixed price listed. Payment methods and timing are shown at checkout and may vary by route or driver.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Riders and drivers may cancel a confirmed booking, but repeated late cancellations may affect your account standing. Refund eligibility depends on how far in advance a booking is cancelled and the specific driver or package's cancellation policy, which is shown before you confirm.

6. Driver responsibilities

Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Svaarian. Drivers are responsible for holding a valid driving licence, appropriate vehicle documentation, and insurance as required by law, and for driving safely and courteously. Svaarian may suspend a driver's account for verified complaints, safety concerns, or repeated cancellations.

7. User conduct

You agree not to use Svaarian to harass, defraud, or endanger other users; to circumvent the platform's bidding or payment process; to post false ride requests or bids; or to use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

8. Liability and disclaimers

Svaarian provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee that a ride request will receive bids, that a listed price will be honoured, or that any trip will be free of delay or incident. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Svaarian is not liable for the conduct of any rider or driver, or for loss, damage, or injury arising from a trip arranged through the platform.

9. Intellectual property

The Svaarian name, logo, and platform design are the property of Svaarian. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without written permission.

10. Termination

Svaarian may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a safety risk to other users, with or without prior notice where warranted.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of the platform are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chandigarh, Punjab.

12. Changes to these terms

Svaarian may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
